Family-centred care
Families are listened to, respected, and included in every meaningful decision.
Mukami Kiarie founded Bloom & Grow to bring thoughtful, family-centred developmental care into one warm and practical space.
Meet Mukami Kiarie
Bloom & Grow was founded by Mukami Kiarie, a USA-trained Paediatric Nurse with over 17 years of experience. Her clinical background brings a strong understanding of child health, development, family communication, and coordinated care.
Mukami is also the parent of a child on the autism spectrum. That lived experience gives her a personal understanding of the questions, decisions, advocacy, and everyday adjustments that can shape a family’s journey.
Bloom & Grow brings those perspectives together: professional responsibility and human warmth, evidence and practicality, and a belief that families deserve to feel informed rather than judged.
What shapes the centre
These commitments guide how the centre develops its team, services, environment, and relationships with families.
Families are listened to, respected, and included in every meaningful decision.
Support is shaped around the child rather than a standard programme.
More than 17 years of nursing experience inform the centre’s standard of care.
Families leave with ideas that can work in real routines and real homes.
The environment and pace are considered part of good support.
Care is stronger when families and professionals work from one connected plan.
Clinical evidence, professional judgement, and family priorities are considered together.
